From Sentiment to Reality

I reflect on 911, with heavy heart, but I am not so simple that I can't see that the real tragedy is the leaders of America continued, slow response to the victimes of to Katrina. 911 has become a selling tool for an incompetent administration that wants to hold on to power for the sake of power. All the major networks will have special's about the event unfortunatly, the still displaced victims of America's greatest failure won't be able to watch it in their own homes

With all due respect, 911 was 5 years ago the victims on the coast require assistance NOW. In Lousiana there has yet to be one spokesperson from the military to say that the repaired levees can withstand an even mild (category 1 storm) and hurricane season is upon us (but mainly them)

I once heard an officer say "If you see a 3 day dead body laying in the street that's a regular call but if you see an old lady getting her purse stolen that's a 911 call because the crime is being committed." America pay your respects, then complain to your senators about the crime that continues in the Coast. Because the White House administration plan to use the 911 tragedy as political fodder between now and November and stray as far as they can from the victims in our own backyard

My tribute to housing and towers can be found here at the the worlds largest virtural building (I understand they have units available) click here to check it out
